The Sully Shuffle Foundation, Inc.

The Sully Shuffle Foundation is a 501(c)3 non-for-profit organization committed to raising funds to assist in the fight against Parkinson disease. We provide donations to organizations whose focus is to promote Parkinsons disease awareness and who conduct research to find a cure for this disease.

The Sully Shuffle namesake was a lifelong Oak Lawn resident and retired Oak Lawn Community High School teacher, Skip Sullivan. During his tenure at OLCHS, he served as the Assistant Girls and Boys Basketball, Football, Golf and Head Varsity Baseball Coach. Sully gallantly fought Parkinson’s disease for over 20 years before he passed away in November of 2021.

Sully’s family was overwhelmed with the outpouring of love and support received in the days, weeks and months after his passing, and it’s obvious his positive attitude and eternal optimism continues to inspire many. With that in mind, we are having one final shuffle in Sully’s honor! Our hope is to fund a scholarship in his name at OLCHS while also continuing our support of the APDA Midwest Chapter. We are proud to have donated $231,000 to their efforts to fund PD research and will maintain that partnership while also creating a scholarship for high school seniors who emulate Sully’s positive attitude throughout their four years of high school.
